- The following information pertains to the new User Access Rights
- feature:

- If you had passwords set up in your previous version of Account-
- ing, the passwords are created as User ID's when you convert to
- Version 9.

- The controller level password is hard coded in the program.
- To enter the program with controller access, enter
- CONTROLLER as the User ID and the password you set up in your
- previous version of Accounting.

- Example:

- The Controller password is ALL in previous version.

- Enter CONTROLLER as the user ID, and enter ALL as the password.

- To activate the new User Access Rights feature, select YES in the
- Activate User Access Rights field on the System Preferences dialog
- box. Add additional User ID's or delete the default ID's from the
- Edit User Access dialog box. To access this dialog box, select
- Defaults from the Edit menu, and then select User Access Rights.
- Refer to the User's Guide or online Help in the program for add-
- itional information on User Access Rights.
